"That's-A Spicy Pizza Sauce-A!" in Chili? You better believe it!!!!

Thanks to one of our customers who've tried this in their chili. We took their suggestion and whipped up a batch last week, adding our spicy pizza sauce for some extra zing! Recipe follows:

1 lb. Lean Ground Beef

3 Cans Chili Beans, 1 Can Pinto Beans - black beans are also great, but didn't use in this batch

1 Small can Tomato Paste

I large can Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes

1 each Yellow Onion, Green Pepper, Red Pepper, Jalepeno pepper, Serano pepper.

2 Tablespoons Chili Powder

1 Tablespoon Cumin

1 Tablespoon each Black Pepper and Red Pepper Flakes

1 Teaspoon Himalayan Pink Salt, freshly ground

Brown Hamburger, drain grease, add to crockpot.

Add all peppers to skillet with a teaspoon of Olive Oil. Cook for 5 minutes. Add to crockpot.

Add canned beans, tomato paste, and all seasonings.

Set crockpot on low for 8-9 hours. Add your favorite toppings. We like shredded sharp cheddar, raw white or green onions, and sour creme.
