Two months ago, I submitted samples of "That's-A Spicy Pizza Sauce-A!" to the NC Specialty Foods group for their annual "Best of North Carolina" competition. While we were on vacation in the Florida Keys, I received a perplexing text from a colleague of mine, congratulating me on placing second in the condiment category. Upon returning from Florida, I received a link to the article below and a beautiful red ribbon arrived a few days later! We are thrilled to receive this recognition, as it validates what we've thought for a while - our pizza sauce ROCKS! Go ahead and order some on-line or find us locally at two upcoming events - Festa Italiana 9/24 in downtown Raleigh and the Pittsboro Night Market 9/30 at The Plant. We should also be at 3-5 more stores by the end of September - we'll let you know those stores, as well roll out!
